The EU user consent policy requires that commercially reasonable efforts are taken to disclose clearly, and obtain consent to, any data collection, sharing and usage.

Datalog does not collect personal data about individuals using the Datalog service. We may publish, hold and disclose information about companies obtained from primary government sources which may be considered personal information in some jurisdictions. Datalog is governed by the laws of England and Wales and complies with the appropriate legislation. We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner who is responsible for Data Protection in the United Kingdom. We use third party organisations such as Google who may collect personal data - we may have access to this data through services they provide to us. Datalog users may elect to email us. Email correspondance is considered a one-to-one exchange and we do not sell this information onto third parties. We may use email correspondance in any legal dispute which may arise and we may disclose this information at the request of governement organisations who have the relevant authority to do so.

We do store web server transaction logs for logging, analytics and other internal purposes. These do not contain cookie or user identity information other than the IP address of the Datalog user.
