The work comprises of the refurbishment of three 17 storey residential high rise properties in Coventry. The proposed external works include: concrete repairs to the external facade with associated systems of access; anti carbonation treatment to external concrete panels, installation of a feature cladding system, renew balcony floor covering with new waterproof system, renew rainwater goods, roof system repairs, the installation of a new aluminium entrance canopy and a entry system, CCTV system and concierge service link. The removal of asbestos containing materials, and installation of new soil stacks. External works to car park, hard and soft landscaping design and installation.

Generally services for Cleaning, Grounds Maintenance and Minor Tree Surgery to communal areas of Social Housing properties across Herefordshire, Worcestershire, as more particularly described in the individual Lots. The scope of this procurement (and subsequent contract(s)) will initially be as outlined above. The authority reserves the right to add other properties in other areas in which we have, or may have in the future, a vested or contractual interest. Thomas Vale Construction Refurbishment work 2013/01/16 GBP

The contract comprises the cosmetic refurbishment of a 19 storey residential high rise property in Coventry City Centre. Works are to be carried out externally and internally to 16 of the 19 floors and a ground floor entrance. The proposed external works include: access scaffolding and/or mast climbers; concrete repairs to the external facade; installation of a rainscreen cladding system; new aluminium double glazed windows and doors; renewal of the asphalt coating to the external balcony floors; the installation of a new aluminium entrance foyer and external canopy; a new GDX 5 door entry control system; the installation of a new CCTV system and other ancillary works. The proposed internal works include: decorative improvements to the entrance and communal spaces, including new floor coverings, internal lighting schemes, painting to communal walls and soffits, installation of new signage and fires safety works; refurbishment of 2 internal passenger lifts; installation of composite fire rated doors to each flat; new bathrooms and kitchens to each flat; electrical works to each flat; a new programmable electrical heating system; the removal and disposal of asbestos containing materials; and installation of new acoustic soil vent pipes and connections. WMHG are considering the options for the conversion of the existing one bedroom flats into a 2 bedroom flat using the internal areas of the adjacent bedsits. A design for the adapted layout will be provided by the client.
