NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS) wishes to establish a framework agreement for the provision of Orthopaedic Implant and Associated Products for use by or on behalf of current and future NHS SBS clients, including without limitation (I) any national health service (NHS) trust, (II) other persons and bodies exercising NHS functions or otherwise providing NHS services (including, but not limited to primary care trusts, strategic health authorities and foundation trusts) (being other NHS entities), (III) other UK public sector bodies providing non-health services , (IV) private sector entities in the UK and Isle of Man public services sector. (see section VI.3, Additional Information)

Surgical Implants for Women's and Men's Health including:

Orthopaedic Trauma Implants & Consumables. Internal and external fixation, arthrodesis, intra-opertive fracture management, trauma consumables, circlage.

Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust have a requirement to host a local Framework Agreement to cover all Trauma and Orthopaedic consumables, Instruments and Power Tools. The framework will be split into multiple lots. Other Trusts which will be included on the Framework Agreement are Isle of Wight NHS Trust, Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Royal Berkshire NHS foundation Trust, Frimley Park Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Salisbury Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust.
